We are the creators of our own experiences. What hope for, dream about, wish to have happen, wish not to happen, etc, - are all literally in our heads. when we see the world outside through our eyes, that vision "out there" is still - yes, in our heads. For the sake of discussion, we can say those "visions" are just bio-chemical activities in Area 17 of our brains. Mechanics aside, being that we made in God's image, we can choose the perspective we use to filter our perceptrions of our own selves, others, and the world in general.
